About the editor

Vannessa has spent her entire working lifetime with plastic materials, so she should know something by now...

She began work in a plastics laboratory at 16 years of age and was instantly hooked by these fascinating materials. Little did she know then, she was embarking on a career entirely focused in plastics materials, manufacture and recycling.

Fast forward over twenty five years and she is now one of the UKs foremost plastics experts. Her books are used in industry and universities across the world.

She is currently working as a Principal Research Fellow for WMG, University of Warwick on a variety of plastic related research and development projects.
