Force and Moment
Smithers can provide force and moment data for passenger, light truck and racing tires over operating ranges from parking lot speeds to the limit of the V speed rating. Tires can be testing at loads up to 5,500 lbs (25 k-N) as a function of the load, slip angle, inclination angle, speed and driving/braking torque.
Tires which range in size from small aircraft to passenger car and heavy truck can be tested at loads up to 10,000 lb (45 k-N) as a function of load, slip angle, inclination angle and speed. Available data include:
