Smithers Rapra announced that testing services to national, international and manufacturer derived standards are now available at its Lansing Product Testing Lab in Lansing, Michigan.

“The Lansing Product Testing Lab is the next step in our commitment to implementing important new services that solve our clients’ product development challenges,” said Jim Dowey, president of Smithers Rapra. “With the expanded facilities in Lansing, we’re offering a total solution and the final stop for products in development before they find success in the marketplace.”

The new Lansing Product Testing Lab enhances Smithers Rapra’s existing service to the R&D and engineering groups of major automakers and suppliers in the Midwest. “With the addition of the new services, our Lansing Lab can offer automotive, industrial and medical companies a more complete product testing process,” states Jeff Andrasik, product testing supervisor. “Once a product has been tested and verified, we can also test the packaging to ensure safe and efficient delivery. The process is completely streamlined.”
