Smithers Rapra Announces Expanded 2018 Training Course Schedule

Smithers Rapra has released a revised and expanded training programme for 2018. The schedule of 14 plastic and rubber courses includes five brand new topics.

Driven by client demand, new topics include:

  • Introduction to Rapid Prototyping in Plastics
  • Introduction to Buying Plastic Products
  • Introduction to Injection Moulding
  • Introduction to Thermoplastic Elastomers
  • Extrusions - A Commercial Appreciation

Flagship course Plastic Materials and Products has also been revised and updated and is now relaunched as Introduction to Plastics Technology.

Developed from Smithers Rapra’s experience in industrial problem solving, the courses are delivered by experts who understand the problems, cost and time constraints faced by people working in industry.

The popular one and two-day courses run multiple times per year at Smithers Rapra’s UK facility in Shawbury, Shropshire and are a unique opportunity to learn from experienced experts. Subjects range from introductory to advanced, covering a range of subjects, and providing a complete overview of technical processes.
